My wife and I chose to visit the Dolomites in the fall because the colors in the landscapes are outstanding at this time of year. We were not disappointed. The fall colors combined with the dramatic mountain peaks made this the most perfect place for a landscape photographer.
I photographed jagged peaks, emerald lakes, endless alpine meadows and beautiful mountain towns. We enjoyed delicious local food, wine and beer. I felt a sense of pure awe and joy. It is an experience I will never forget. One day I hope to revisit the Dolomites in the winter to take advantage of the incredible ski slopes.
