A highlight of this trip was seeing the stars over Trillium Lake and Mount Hood. We set up our tent close to the lake and set our alarms to wake us at 3:00 in the morning. Bleary eyed, we stuck our heads out of the tent and were awestruck by the beauty of this night sky. We knew we were seeing something very special.
After spending two weeks in Oregon, we drove north to visit two of our favorite National Parks in the US: Mount Rainier and Olympic National Park in Washington State. These parks are every nature lover’s dream. From beautiful waterfalls and rivers, to meadows of wildflowers, to rainforests and stunning mountain views.
